Chilling CCTV Footage Reveals Killer’s Movements

Dorin Ciorba, 29, targeted Osaretin Oronsaye at his home in Dunlop Close on 5 July 2025. Police pieced the crime together by reviewing hours of CCTV. The footage shows Ciorba arriving at Dartford train station, cycling to Oronsaye’s house, then leaving shortly after, wearing different clothes.

He hopped on a train back to London and immediately used the victim’s bank cards for multiple transactions.

Arrest and Evidence Uncovered

Ciorba was arrested at his home on Longbridge Road, Barking, on 17 July 2025. Officers recovered Oronsaye’s bank cards, car keys, and paperwork related to a small claims dispute between the two men — documents delivered just the night before the murder.

Justice Served at Maidstone Crown Court

Following a trial, Ciorba was found guilty of murder and robbery on 12 February 2026. A week later, he was sentenced to 32 years behind bars and will be deported once his sentence is served.

Detective Chief Inspector Neil Kimber said: “I hope this lengthy custodial sentence provides Osaretin’s family and friends with some comfort and time to grieve.

Ciorba carried out a senseless murder and truly believed he had gotten away with his crime. He arrogantly used Mr Oronsaye’s bank cards after searching online for murder reports and kept hold of the victim’s possessions.

This case proves that no matter how calculated an offender thinks they are, they will not escape justice for such horrific violence.”
