Paul Campbell, 43, of Thornton Heath, has been convicted of the manslaughter of 62-year-old Gordon Ogunmuyiwa, a former doctor from Dalston, Hackney, who was found dead in a South London B&B.
Police launched a murder investigation after neighbours reported hearing violent disturbances the night before Gordon’s body was found. A post-mortem confirmed he had suffered multiple injuries sustained over time, with the final attack on 23 December being particularly savage.

“Gordon was much loved and his death has completely destroyed our family. We thank the police for bringing his killer to justice and pray no other family has to suffer like we have.”
