Shock Racism at London Stadium Spurs Police Hunt
During a heated match at London Stadium on 28 April, home fans shocked onlookers with vile racial gestures. Among the hateful acts, some supporters were caught making Nazi salutes aimed at the visiting crowd.
Police Launch Manhunt for Abhorrent Offenders
Detective Constable Phil Dickinson of the Met’s Public Order Planning Team revealed the scale of the crackdown. “This was a challenging police operation on the day of the match where arrests were made. But our work does not stop there,” he said. “Officers have reviewed footage and identified seven individuals we urgently want to trace.”
He added, “This type of behaviour has no place in football or wider society and these people must be held responsible for their actions.”
