A tragic crash on Rochdale Road has left an e-bike rider dead and two pedestrians seriously injured. The fatal collision has rocked the north Manchester community.
Serious Collision on Rochdale Road
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers are handling a serious road traffic collision involving an e-bike and two pedestrians.
“The male e-bike rider has sadly been pronounced dead at the scene,” the spokesperson said. “The two pedestrians have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
Road Closures and Delays Expected
Police investigations are ongoing, but significant road closures are in force. Rochdale Road, Whitemoss Road, and Lionbrow Road are currently blocked off.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes while emergency services work.
