Emergency services rushed to Balham train station this afternoon in response to a distressing incident involving a person under a train. London Ambulance Service personnel were deployed to the scene promptly after receiving reports of the incident at 1:13 pm.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service confirmed the response, stating: “We were called today at 1:13 pm to Balham train station after reports of a person under a train. We sent a number of resources including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a response car, members of our hazardous area response team, and an incident response officer.
