Skipton was rocked by a major emergency call-out this Thursday morning. Here’s what we know so far.

Workplace Accident Sparks Urgent Response

A spokesperson from North Yorkshire Police confirmed officers were called to a serious workplace accident at Snaygill Industrial Park. The incident was reported at 11.51am by the ambulance service.

The spokesperson said, “Emergency services responded swiftly to a workplace accident at a business premises on Snaygill Industrial Park. A man was taken to the hospital, and the Health and Safety Executive has been notified.”

Ambulance and Air Ambulance Deployed

Yorkshire Ambulance Service revealed they received the emergency call slightly earlier, at 11.38am.

“An ambulance and an air ambulance were rushed to the scene. One patient was transported to the hospital by road,” their spokesperson confirmed.
