Family tribute to motorcyclist who died after A27 crash

The family of a motorcyclist who died after a collision with a car on the A27 have paid tribute to him. 51-year-old Mark Copley, of Cherry Tree Walk in Basingstoke" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="Basingstoke" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="122049">Basingstoke was injured in the accident on 30th April. He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he died on 10 May. In tribute to him, Mr Copley’s family said: “He was a loving husband and a great dad, who will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.” The accident happened on the eastbound carriageway of the A27 at Portsmouth, just after 12.10pm on 30th April. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team. A 32-year-old man from Havant was arrested in connection with the incident and was released pending further enquiries. The investigation continues.
