Fareham firefighters called to stolen car ablaze in Stubbington

A fire appliance from Fareham was mobilised in the early hours of Wednesday morning to a car well alight on Oakcroft Lane in Stubbington. It is understood that the car may have been stolen abandoned and then set alight. Firefighters from Fareham were called by Police just after 2am. A team of two firefighters wearing two breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the car that was totally engulf in fire. Crews stopped the fire from spreading to near by greenery.
