Blaze Breaks Out in Willesden Green Flat – Three People Rescued!
Inferno at Blenheim Gardens
Yesterday evening, just before 7pm, chaos erupted on Blenheim Gardens in Willesden Green as flames tore through a third-floor flat. Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters rushed to the scene to battle the blaze.
Swift Rescue Amid Smoke and Flames
The fire damaged half of the three-room flat inside a four-storey building. Thanks to the brave efforts of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, three residents were safely evacuated. Remarkably, no injuries were reported.
Rapid Response from Multiple Fire Stations
The emergency call came in at 6:40pm, and by 7:20pm, the fire was under control. Crews from Willesden, West Hampstead, and North Kensington fire stations all joined forces to tackle the fire.
Cause Under Investigation
The Metropolitan Police Service and the Fire Brigade have launched an investigation to determine what sparked the blaze.
