Inconclusive Post Mortem over Cowes Chemical Death

A post-mortem has this week been carried out on the body of 21-year-old Glen Davies, who died following a chemical incident in Cowes last month. As first reported, emergency services were called to a property on St Mary’s Road, Cowes on the evening of Wednesday 27th April where paramedics attempted to save the life of a man in his 20s, now revealed to be Glen Davies, 21. During the incident a total of 4 people – including 2 paramedics – were affected by a chemical that Mr Davies is thought to have inhaled, injected or ingested. The incident prompted specialist support from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service. A post-mortem took place in a mainland facility with full ventilation yesterday (Monday), however it proved inconclusive. Further tests are now being carried out to help determine the cause of death.
