The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have issued a stark warning to Gaza’s northern residents: Get out now or face the consequences. Spokesperson Daniel Hagari called on civilians to evacuate immediately and head south for their own safety.
“Your window to act is closing; move south for your own safety,” Hagari said, stressing the operation against Hamas will be “precise and intense.” He added that once the fighting ends, it will be safe for people to return north.
Hamas Accused of Using Civilians as Human Shields
The IDF claims Hamas is endangering innocent lives by hiding fighters in schools, mosques, and hospitals. Civilians have been told to move south of Wadi Gaza to avoid the crossfire.
Death Toll Soars Amid Rising Violence
The Hamas-run health ministry reports grim figures: 7,650 people dead and 19,450 injured in Gaza since the conflict erupted on October 7. Another 111 have died and nearly 2,000 injured in the West Bank during the same period.
