Man airlifted to hospitial after being hit by a bus in Sunbury

Pedestrian in serious condition in hospital after collision with a double decker bus Surrey Police were called to a collision between a bus and an elderly pedestrian in Sunbury on Thames, which happened around 17.00 this afternoon (Thursday 29 June). The collision, involving a double decker bus and an elderly man, occurred at the corner of Green Street and Thames Street. The man has sustained serious injuries and has been taken to St George’s Hospital by air ambulance. Green Street was closed while officers and other emergency services dealt with the collision and the recovery of the bus. Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Surrey Police on 101 quoting incident reference P17162130.
