A man has been charged with murder following the death of 28-year-old Dylan Fitzpatrick at Tamworth railway station on Sunday, 8 March.

Suspect Busted: Charges Include Murder and Dangerous Driving

British Transport Police named the accused as Jack Simper, 27, from Hazeldene Road, Birmingham. He faces charges of murder, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.

Simper is set to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on 11 March.

Tragic Incident at Tamworth Station

  • Officers were called to the Tamworth railway station car park at around 2.40 am after reports of an unresponsive man.
  • Paramedics found Dylan Fitzpatrick with serious injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
  • Despite urgent life-saving efforts, Dylan tragically died at the scene.

Dylan Fitzpatrick was a Birmingham local, aged just 28.
