AA Maps confirmed three lanes are closed on the M25 northbound, causing significant traffic congestion stretching back to Junction 4 near Orpington. Motorists face lengthy delays during the morning rush hour.

Onlookers are also causing traffic build-up on the southbound side of the M25 over the QE2 Bridge towards Junction 29 (A127 Romford), adding to commuter disruption.
