A man in his 70s was discovered unconscious on Rennets Wood Road, Eltham, at around 7:15am on Monday, March 16. Paramedics treated him at the scene before rushing him to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Tragic Death After Two Days in Hospital
Despite doctors’ efforts, the man sadly passed away two days later on Wednesday, March 18. His family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
Police Investigate, No Arrests Yet
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating the death of a man in Eltham. No arrests have been made at this stage, and enquiries remain ongoing.”
