A 31-year-old man has been jailed for 14 years after being found guilty of raping a teenage girl, Avon & Somerset Police confirmed.

Daniel Bee’s Shocking Crime Exposed

Daniel Bee, who has no fixed address, was convicted by a jury at Taunton Crown Court at North Somerset Courthouse on Thursday, 29 January. The case came to light after officers discovered Bee with a teenage girl in a caravan in January 2025, having already found her in his hotel room a week earlier.

The victim bravely came forward, revealing the full extent of Bee’s offences.

Victim’s Heartbreaking Statement

“I feel numb… it all repeats in my head and I want to move on, or at least try, but I’m always brought back to square one.

“I’m constantly on edge, like what if he finds me and does it again, or worse. I will never look at a man the same way again.

“He is a vile man. He should be locked up forever.”

Judge Hands Down Tough Sentence

His Honour Judge Climie condemned Bee’s actions as “wholly warped” during sentencing on Friday, 6 March.

Bee was sentenced to 14 years behind bars: 13 years for rape, nine months for stalking, two months for dangerous driving, plus one month for breaching bail conditions. On top of that, he faces a four-year licence extension and a lifelong restraining order.

“You pose a significant risk,” the judge warned as he delivered the harsh verdict.
