Man Stabbed in The Grounds of Winchester Cathedral
Police are appealing for information following an incident in Winchester. At around 5pm on Saturday, 14 October, officers were called to an altercation between two groups of men in the grounds of Winchester Cathedral. During the incident, a 23-year-old man sustained a stab wound to his hand and was taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital for treatment. Two other men received minor injuries during the incident. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has photos or footage of what happened. A 32-year-old man from Winchester has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent. He has been released from custody by remains under investigation.
