Man Caught with AR-15 Near Capitol Sparks Major Police Response
A tense afternoon outside the U.S. Capitol ended with a man arrested for parking a vehicle containing an AR-15 right across from Union Station.

At the same time, Capitol Police also responded to reports of a suspicious package found in Upper Senate Park.
The area around the park was secured but has since been declared safe as the investigation continues.
