Thames Valley Police are hunting three masked robbers who struck in Whitley last Tuesday evening.
Assault and Theft on Lower Meadow Road
At around 7pm on 17 March 2026, three men approached two young men in their twenties sitting in a car on Lower Meadow Road. The attackers assaulted the victims and stole several personal belongings before making their getaway.
Getaway Car Spotted
The trio fled the scene and were seen jumping into a black Mercedes parked on Blagdon Road. All three offenders were described as Black men, dressed head to toe in black with black face coverings.
Thankfully, the victims escaped without injury.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Constable Georgia Parrott said: “I urge anyone near the area or with information to get in touch. Check your CCTV or dash-cam footage from the time – it could be vital to our investigation. We know incidents like this cause concern, but we are treating this as a priority.”
