Conveyor Belt Fire Triggers Emergency Call-Out
Surrey Fire and Rescue Service were called at 11:14am after a fire broke out on a conveyor belt at the Charlton Lane site.
“We were called today at approximately 11:14am to a conveyor belt fire at Shepperton Community Recycling Centre in Charlton Lane, Shepperton. Seven fire engines are at the scene, including two from London Fire Brigade. We urge everyone to avoid the area while this incident is ongoing. Thank you.”
