Mobile Signal problems for O2 and Vodafone Customers

It’s bad news for customers of O2, GiffGaff, Tesco Mobile and Vodafone as the popular networks are experiencing signal issues on the Isle of Wight today (Wednesday). Essential maintenance has resulted in a loss of signal for those using mobile devices on the O2 and Vodafone networks, especially in the Newport area. A statement issued by O2 reads: “We’re carrying out some upgrade work to help improve our network. While we do this, you might have some trouble with your calls, texts and data. “We’re working as fast as we can and everything should be back to normal by 6pm on Thursday July 18.” Vodafone similarily say that they expect the service to return to normal tomorrow. Three, EE and BT Mobile customers are unaffected.
