This afternoon, the Newhaven Coastguard Team was called to a paraglider that had crashed into the dense gorse bushes near Newhaven Fort.

Working with East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, the team located the casualty, cleared a long path to reach them, assessed them for injuries, and then extracted them to safety.
