At 3.50 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, Kent Police were called to a report of a collision involving a grey Peugeot car and a pedestrian near the Tram Road zebra crossing.

The pedestrian, a teenage girl, sustained life-changing injuries and was airlifted to a London hospital, where she is still in critical condition.

Investigating officers would like to thank those who have already come forward, and they are asking anyone who was in the area and saw anything, or has dashcam footage that could help, to call Kent Police at 01843 222289 and quote case number 46/21987/23.
