On Friday night, police were called to reports of a fight in a shop in South Belfast after staff at the Tesco store came under attack.

The incident, which was caught on camera and shared on social media, occurred on January 20 at around 7:30 p.m. in Tesco on Dublin Road.

A PSNI spokesperson confirmed that officers spoke with a man about his behaviour.

Police received a report of a fight involving a number of people in a shop on Dublin Road in south Belfast at approximately 7.30pm on Friday 20 January,” they said.
