Police appeal after Man attacked outside Southampton Garage

Police would like to trace a man in connection with an incident that occurred outside the Silverlake Garage on Onslow Road, Southampton at around 1.30pm on Thursday, February 11. A 54-year old man from the New Forest attempted to leave the garage in his vehicle when another man driving a black Honda civic, parked behind him, approached him and assaulted him. The 54-year-old man was attacked and suffered injuries to his neck and head. Officers from Hampshire Police have been conducting extensive enquiries to try to identify the man pictured. They are now asking the public for their assistance in locating him. The man is described as: White Eastern European accent Pale complexion Clean shaven with a scar or mark above his lip 5 ft 11 inches Large muscular build PC Neil Devine from the Western Investigation Team said: “We are appealing for information and the identity of the man pictured. Do you recognise him? “This is an unprovoked assault that happened in the middle of the day. We urge anyone who knows him to contact us in confidence and assist us with this investigation.
