Police appeal for Information following Armed Robbery at Ladbrokes Southampton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man entered Ladbrokes bookmakers on East Street in Southampton with a knife and demanded money. The incident happened at around 7.15pm on Monday, December 19. The man threatened staff and made them hand over several hundred pounds in cash. No one was injured. The man then left the store on foot down East Street in the direction of Debenhams. The man had his face covered but is described as: • Tanned or dark skin • Muscular build • Late 20s • Between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet • Dark coloured, waist length coat with the hood up • Patterned scarf covering his face apart from his eyes • Spoke with a London accent Can you help?
