The Metropolitan Police is seeking the public’s help in identifying 20 men who participated in a counter-protest on Saturday, 11 November. Throughout the day, central London experienced several incidents of violent disorder, including in the vicinity of Whitehall. Detectives are currently investigating a range of offences related to these incidents, including inciting racial hatred, racially aggravated public order offences, and assault on police officers.

Commander Kyle Gordon emphasised that public order policing does not end when an event concludes. Since Remembrance weekend, the police teams have been tirelessly working to identify individuals involved in any criminal activity that occurred on that day. They have carefully reviewed hours of CCTV footage and are continuously examining evidence to aid their inquiries.
