Fire Breaks Out in Shop on Ferryquay Street

Inspector Craig revealed a blaze erupted just before 6:55pm at a shop on Ferryquay Street. The fire hit the toiletries section, forcing staff and customers to evacuate swiftly.

Firefighters Tackle Flames, No Injuries Reported

The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service responded quickly to put out the fire. Thankfully, no one was hurt, though the shop suffered smoke damage.

Police Hunt Two Young Men Seen Near Scene

Two lads spotted nearby have become persons of interest. One wore a dark tracksuit with short dark hair. The other had dark clothes and a green camouflage jacket with orange lining, also sporting short dark hair.
