Serious Crash on Atherley Road: Motorcyclist Hurt
Emergency crews rushed to Atherley Road, near Arthurs Hill, just after 1pm on Sunday, March 27, after a nasty collision between a motorbike and a car.
Crash Details
- The motorbike, a Honda, was coming from Hope Road.
- The car, a VW Polo, was driving along Atherley Road.
- The 36-year-old biker from Ryde suffered serious leg injuries.
- He was quickly taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
- The 46-year-old car driver escaped unscathed.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers are still piecing together what caused the crash. They want to hear from anyone who saw the collision or spotted either vehicle before the smash.
