Police investigate after car ploughs into Wall on Hayling Island

Police are investigating after a Hayling motorist left the carriageway and ploughed into a garden this afternoon. The accident happened just after 2pm as the motorist traveled south along the main Havant Road onto Hayling Island. Although the driver is said to be seriously shaken-up no serious injuries have been reported and no other vehicles were believed to have been involved.
