Police launch Murder Probe in Andover

Hampshire Police have launched a murder investigation following the death off a man in Andover. Officers were called just before 1am on Friday, 13 April after a man had been found injured on Cricketers Way. The victim was taken to Southampton General Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Officers believe they have identified the victim and are working with next of kin to complete formal identification procedures. A 37-year-old man from Andover has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at this time. Investigations into the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area during the early hours of this morning or late last night.
