Police Probe Launched after Man Mowed down and Killed on the Motorway

Officers from Kent Police investigating a fatal collision on the M20 near Folkestone are appealing for witnesses to come forward. At around 2.50am on Friday 25 May a collision involving a pedestrian and a white articulated Mercedes lorry took place on the London-bound carriageway of the M20 near to Junction 11. The pedestrian, a 41-year-old man from High Wycombe, died at the scene. Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) attended the scene and the carriageway remained closed for a number of hours. Anyone with information about the collision, or who was in the area at the time and saw anything or has dashcam footage which might assist the investigation is asked to call SCIU on 01622 798538 quoting AW/AH/073/18.
