Police have been collecting CCTV from nearby business in an attempt to see if the attack was captured on CCTV. It is thought that a traffic monitor management camera may have captured the attacker as it is pointed near to the bus stop where the man was attacked. The two men who Police have arrested are believed to have made off down St Mary’s Road from a property that was also searched by Police. Roads in Portsmouth reopened just after 1pm this afternoon. Specialist contractors from Colas were called in to clear up blood on the pavement. It is believed that the man may have stumbled from a property on St Mary’s Road and collapsed at the bus stop.
