Daniel Boakye, 21, Vanishes from Hospital While in Prison Care
A dangerous robber and alleged drill rapper has vanished after escaping from HMP Feltham. Daniel Boakye, 21, slipped away in the early hours of Tuesday, February 10, while under the watch of prison staff at a West London hospital.
Who Is Daniel Boakye?
- Boakye, 21, was jailed in July 2023 for six years and five months for conspiracy to commit robbery, plus an additional robbery offence.
- He hails from Alma Road, Enfield.
- Local reports allege he is involved in the drill rap scene.
Boakye went missing shortly after 3:30 am while in the hospital under prison custody. Police and the Ministry of Justice are working “at pace” to track him down.
Police and Prison Service on High Alert
“Shortly after 03:30hrs on Tuesday, 10 February, the Met was informed by the Prison Service that a prisoner had escaped custody while under the care of prison staff at a west London hospital,” said a Metropolitan Police spokesperson.
Officers are carrying out urgent enquiries to locate Boakye and bring him back behind bars.
“The prisoner is a 21-year-old man. While the investigation proceeds at pace, we will not be able to provide further details,” said the Met.
A Prison Service spokesperson added: “We are urgently working with the Metropolitan Police to recapture this prisoner and investigating how he was able to escape from the hospital.”
