Family Pays Heartbreaking Tribute to Megan Swann
“Megan was a daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, cousin and friend. She was a bright, beautiful, caring and loving young girl with an infectious personality. If you met her once you’d never forget her laughter. She was excelling at college and on track to pass her hair and beauty course with flying colours. She was only 17 with her whole life ahead of her. Her sudden death has left us all with a deep ache that will never heal. We all love you, Megan xx.”
Megan’s family have asked for privacy during this incredibly difficult time.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
A Hertfordshire Constabulary spokesperson said:
“We’re appealing for witnesses, information and dashcam footage following the fatal collision. The vehicle was travelling towards High Wych Road when it left the road, hit a tree, and ended back on the carriageway. If you saw a blue Ford Fiesta in the area or captured anything on dashcam, please get in touch.”
Detective Sergeant Ben Heath added:
“Our thoughts are with Megan’s family at this difficult time. Any information could help with our enquiries.”
