Thames Valley Police have released a photo of a man they want to quiz after a violent bike robbery attempt in Milton Keynes.
Brawl Erupts Over Stolen Bike Outside Milton Keynes College
At around 1:50pm on Monday, 2 March 2026, a man in his thirties tried to stop a thief snatching a pedal cycle from racks outside Milton Keynes College on Chaffron Way. The victim grabbed the bike as the suspect pulled hard, dragging him to the ground. The would-be robber then punched the man and tried to land another blow before fleeing empty-handed, thanks to the victim’s fierce resistance.
Victim Suffers Minor Injuries
The brave victim only suffered minor injuries and did not need hospital treatment.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Information
Detective Constable Tony Miles of the Milton Keynes Priority Crime Team said:
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this or has information that may assist us to please get in touch. If you recognise the man in the image, or if this is you, please contact us as we think this person may have information to assist our investigation.”
