Thames Valley Police have released CCTV images of two suspects wanted in connection with a brazen arson attack at a Reading health club.

Early Morning Break-In Sparks Fire

At around 2:40am on Friday, 30 January 2026, two individuals forced their way into the Atrium Health Club on Scours Lane. They smashed the glass door before dousing the gym floor with a fire accelerant and setting it ablaze.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported from the incident.

Police Appeal for Information

Detective Constable Johanna Grant urged anyone who recognises the people in the CCTV images to come forward.

“I appreciate that the quality is low but if this is you, or if you think you know who these people are, please get in touch. I am also appealing to anyone with any other information that could assist us. Please call 101 or make an online report via our website, quoting reference number 43260048460.”

Police are keen to bring those responsible to justice and prevent any further dangerous incidents.
