Thieves target Gosport Van Men in overnight tool theft
Police have had several reports of tools being stolen from vans. There is no single type of vehicle however a ford transit and Vauxhall combo have been subject of such thefts overnight around the Rowner Road and Jellicoe Avenue area. Police would ask all residents to be vigilant ensuring your vehicles are locked by checking the door handles as you leave it. If you are a tradesman and have the ability to remove your work tools at night although it is time-consuming and a bit of a pain its the safer option.
