Two teenagers remain missing after a car carrying five young people crashed into the River Nene near Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. The shocking incident happened at around 8.20pm on Tuesday.
Five Teens Involved in River Crash
Police report the car, travelling southbound on North Brink in Wisbech St Mary’s, left the road before plunging into the river. Inside the vehicle were five teenagers aged between 16 and 18 — two boys and three girls.
Three passengers managed to escape the wreckage. Two girls and one boy were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn with injuries that are not life-threatening.

Cambridgeshire police confirm a teenage boy and girl are still unaccounted for. A large search operation is underway, with emergency services, including divers, combing the river. The road remains closed as searches continue.
On Wednesday afternoon, at least a dozen emergency personnel were spotted on the riverbank alongside a white forensic tent and multiple emergency vehicles.

Police Appeal for Witnesses
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward immediately to assist with the investigation.
“We need any information to help find the missing teenagers,” a police spokesperson said.
