A Virgin hot air balloon drifted eerily over the Wokingham skyline on Tuesday afternoon before being forced into an emergency landing in a field near Binfield, close to Bracknell.
Balloon Loses Wind Power Mid-Flight
The balloon hit trouble when the wind died down, leaving the pilot powerless to continue the planned trip. With no breeze to carry it onward, a quick decision was made to perform a precautionary landing.
Passengers Safe and Sound
Thankfully, all passengers climbed out of the basket unscathed, and no injuries have been reported following the unexpected touchdown.
