The meltdown comes after the failure of a mid morning service. Those effected passengers where transferred to the Fishbourne route that is already at capacity. Many drivers attempting to gain access to an earlier sailing are being advised with a polite no. Those booked are being advised to arrive 45 mins before. Wightlink have yet to comment on why the service was stripped.
