This weekend marks a major sporting milestone as the 45th London Marathon hits the streets of the capital. Thousands of runners will take on the iconic 26.2-mile challenge, cheered on by massive crowds lining the streets. But for those unable to attend in person, there are still plenty of ways to join in and show support — all from the comfort of home.
How to Watch the London Marathon
The BBC will be broadcasting live coverage of the London Marathon on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, allowing viewers to follow all the action from start to finish. Coverage begins at 10am on Sunday, 27 April, and runs through until 2pm.
The BBC’s special coverage will be hosted by Gabby Logan, alongside a team of expert commentators including Andrew Cotter, Steve Cram, Paula Radcliffe, and Tanni Grey-Thompson. Reporters Abby Cook, JJ Chalmers, Jeanette Kwakye, and Sarah Mulkerrins will also provide updates from across the course.
