Ellie Crampsie, 23, from Glasgow, faces jail after trying to smuggle 17.7kg of cannabis worth over £150,000 into the UK. The influencer and beauty business owner was caught by Border Force at Edinburgh Airport, arriving from Bangkok via Paris.
Authorities found 17 vacuum-packed bags of cannabis stuffed inside her luggage.

At Edinburgh Sheriff Court, prosecutor Emma Laing revealed Ellie admitted to travelling from Thailand with the stashed drugs. The “Brows by Ellie” owner has already pleaded guilty to supply charges.
