Christopher’s mother, Alina Joseph, testified during the inquest, revealing that her family had been subjected to years of racial abuse since their move to Wales. This abuse included hate mail, racist graffiti on their home in Rhondda Cynon Taf, and what she described as “horrific treatment.” Shockingly, the court heard that her children had allegedly been beaten, urinated on, and even run over in incidents that were reported to the police but met with no action.
