Police appeal for Fake Sorry Real Portsmouth Doctor

Portsmouth police have been left red-faced after putting out an appeal to identify a man claiming to be a doctor – after scores of local people recognised him…as their GP! Earlier today a police appeal stated that on Tuesday 3rd October a man claiming to be a doctor attended an address in Sydenham Court, Fratton and said he was there to administer a flu jab. The CCTV image attached to the appeal rang a bell for scores of Portsmouth folk…as he is their real-life doctor. It would appear local detectives employed neither common sense nor put the leg work in by contacting local surgeries before launching their appeal, shared thousands of times on social media and the local press. We are happy to help and confirm that Dr Olarinde Babatalu is infact a REAL doctor as well as a registered GP and works out of Somerstown Health Centre at Somerstown Central Community Hub. Call off the manhunt Hampshire Constabulary and bring in the search parties, you’re looking for a genuine doctor.
