Police Hunt Robbery Gang After Vodafone Store Targeted in Daylight Raid

Police are appealing for witnesses after a brazen daytime robbery at the Vodafone store on Devonshire Road, Bexhill, in which tens of thousands of pounds worth of electronics were stolen.

The robbery occurred at around 12.45pm on Monday, 19 May, when four men dressed in dark clothing stormed the store. One suspect wore a surgical mask, while the others concealed their faces with balaclavas. They carried large duffle bags and threatened staff before fleeing with high-value stock.

The gang reportedly escaped on foot via Canteloupe Road and Brassey Road, before reaching a waiting vehicle near the seafront.

Police responded swiftly and supported the shocked staff. The scene was cordoned off for forensic investigation.
