The RSPCA has issued a crucial warning to all dog owners, urging them to keep their pets on leads while in London parks and green spaces, especially during this time of year. The organization highlighted a concerning trend of wildlife suffering “horrific injuries” due to dog attacks.
In a statement, an RSPCA spokesperson emphasized the importance of being mindful of wildlife and livestock when enjoying outdoor activities. They revealed that the RSPCA frequently encounters cases of severe injuries inflicted on various animals, including deer, hedgehogs, ducks, geese, and swans, as a result of dog attacks.
