Police  in Trowbridge are appealing for witnesses following an appalling act of vandalism that left several school buses unusable. Over the weekend of October 7 and 8, seven minibuses parked at Silverwood School on Ashton Street were targeted, resulting in severe damage to their windscreens.

The repercussions of this mindless act are far-reaching, as the damaged vehicles are crucial for transporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to and from school. The safety risks posed by the damaged windscreens make it impossible to operate the buses, leaving the children and their parents facing significant disruptions to their daily routines.
