Explosives experts from the British Army have been called to the Eurotunnel terminal in Cheriton, Folkestone, after a suspicious vehicle was stopped earlier today, temporarily suspending shuttle services as emergency services respond to the incident.
The suspicious vehicle was intercepted at approximately 10:30am at the Channel Tunnel terminal in Folkestone. As a precautionary measure, explosives experts have been deployed to the scene, and a safety cordon has been established to ensure the well-being of the public.
