Sussex Police have issued a renewed identity appeal following a report of rape and sexual assault on Brighton beach in the early hours of September 8. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. between Brighton’s two iconic piers.

The two victims, who are known to one another, are currently receiving support from specialist officers.
Anyone with information is urged to report it online or call 101, quoting Operation Charlbury. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be given to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
